Spectravideo Software
Spectravideo used both cassettes and cartridges for their games.
Their selection of titles wasn't any good compared to Commodore 64, Atari, Apple and others.
The first year, only a handfull of various games and other programs was available.
Spectravideo didn't have any support from the large software houses producing games for all their competitors.
The software situation got better after a couple of years, but it was really to little to late.
There's a complete list over the software packages available on this page.

 Spectravideo emulator for PC
There's at least two emulators available, the best one is BlueMSX

BlueMSX can emulate the SV-318, SV-328, SV-328 w/80-column, SV-328MKII and of course different MSX computers.

Make sure you use CLOAD + RUN  or BLOAD "CAS:",R   depending on the program you want to load.
Under FILE->CASSETTE check the "Rewind after Insert".  That should get rid of the Device I/O error some might experience.

Here's a couple of screenshots from BlueMSX:

Convert old tapes to CAS files

Johan Winge has created a set of utilities making it possible to convert old cassette tapes into CAS files.
 SviCas2Wav, SviWav2Cas, SviShell, SviCasMan.
